This is a wonderful, healthy alternative to store bought cereal. This recipe is made of oats, which are a whole grain cereal. Oats contain a specific fibre called beta-glucan. Since 1963, study after study has proven the beneficial effects of this special fibre on cholesterol levels and in stimulating the immune system. Oats are a great balance of carbohydrates, protein and fibre, keeping you feeling satiated through your morning!
This came out crunchy and tasty; for anyone that likes chocolate, it is a morning treat! I used mashed banana instead of yoghurt, as I don’t do dairy. You can use whatever you like!
